Thurso Scotland Town History

Thurso is the most northerly town in Scotland and home to the country’s most Northerly railway station served by Britain’s Rail Network which was founded in 1911.

The area is still known to this day as Old Thurso or the Old Town which is evident from the medieval remains which date back to the early 1100’s.
